This photo is part of the collection I inherited from my grandmother, Billee Barton Corn. The photo was taken about 1924, likely in Oklahoma where the family lived. The back is labeled “June Barton, age 4, Billee Barton, age 6″. I adore the details in this photo: the short bobbed hair, the loose flowing dresses, the Mary Jane flats and the SOCKS, oh! the socks!
