On Veterans Day this year, I remembered Kenneth L. Stacey. He is not my relation, but a grand-uncle of my husband.
Technical Sergeant Kenneth lost his life at the age of 33, on 20 February 1944, aboard a B-24 Liberator downed at Edmeissen, Germany, on a mission to Brunswick.
He left behind a widow, Alice Finlay Stacey. Kenneth and Alice did not have children, and Alice remained his widow the remainder of her long life.
